Be Bigger

Good Morning, Happy Spring Reader!

I’ve been in San Diego since Wednesday for another business conference. My client, friend and colleague April flew out here with me, and we took some time to explore the city, meet internet friends in person, and make a few new connections along the way.

This event has been a powerful mix of strategy and energy work, and in the middle of sound baths, meditations, breathwork sessions, and talks, two words kept showing up for me: BE BIGGER.

It got me thinking about how this applies not just to me, but likely to you as well.

For me, being bigger means taking up more space, showing up more boldly, being seen, putting myself in uncomfortable rooms, and pushing the edges of what feels safe.

During one session, I found myself asking:

  • When did you stop feeling fully confident in what you’re doing?
  • When did you start shrinking back?

And the truth is, from the outside, it might look like I’m already playing big...you see my emails, my social posts, my podcast episodes, the travel, the events etc...

But behind the scenes? I’ve been holding back.

I didn’t apply to speak at this event because I told myself I wasn’t “ready.” I passed on another conference for years because I felt like I hadn’t “earned” my place in the room.

I’ve been inconsistent with my content because I burned out trying to follow every “hook” and “perfect copywriting” rule.

Even when people compliment me and say, “Your business is doing great!” the voice in my head quietly says, “I’m glad you think so... but it’s not.”

The reality is, I’ve been playing small. Sitting in self-doubt, holding back my true voice, hesitating to share my best ideas, and not fully owning the value I bring.

It’s easy to hide behind doing "enough" to appear active while silently playing small, stuck in self-doubt and second-guessing where we fit in.

So, what does being bigger look like now?

For me, it looks like:

  • Making the Focused Visionary Accelerator bigger, not because it needs fixing, but because it’s ready to impact more people. I’ve seen firsthand how this program helps business owners double their income, reclaim their time, and bring in high-quality leads.
  • Growing my podcast audience, because it’s where I am my most authentic and impactful, and yet, I’ve kept it small, afraid of being too bold.
  • Expanding my email list, because people tell me every week that this is the only email they always open, and yet, I rarely promote it.
  • Going all in on Substack, because it aligns with my strengths, and it’s time I fully trust myself to commit and go all in on one platform that feels right.

And most importantly, it looks like showing up for myself, applying for the speaking gigs, sharing my expertise freely, fully selling my offers, and being unapologetically me.

And I’m inviting YOU to do the same.

Where can you BE BIGGER?

  • Is it finally trusting your gut instead of waiting for external permission?
  • Is it sharing your offers and services more consistently?
  • Is it using your voice even when it feels uncomfortable?
  • Is it investing in your business so you can stop spinning your wheels?

Take some time to reflect. Journal on it. Process it with someone you trust.

Yes, it will feel uncomfortable. Yes, it might stir up fear and resistance. But imagine how it will feel when you’re standing in front of your dream audience, closing new sales, and hearing stories of how your work has transformed someone's life, all because you chose to be bigger.

As my friend Julie reminded me this week, we can hold space for others to be bigger, even as we work on it ourselves.

If you’re ready to start showing up in a bigger way, I’d love to support you.

You can jump into the Focused Visionary Accelerator today, or if you’re craving deeper, more personalized coaching, I have two openings in my new 4-month 1:1 program.

Reply here, and we’ll figure out which one is right for you.

Let’s get bigger together.

I believe in YOU!!

xoxo

Let me be real with you Reader: I’ve spent most of 2025 in hibernation mode.Behind the scenes of client calls and “busy” days, I was just trying to stay afloat. Yes, the backend of my business got cleaned up.Yes, I was supporting clients. But my own goals? The plan I made in December?Still sitting there. Half-done. Barely touched. And I know I’m not the only one.Because Q1 felt off for a lot of us.Ideas that never got off the ground. Revenue that was a rollercoaster. You’ve been doing your best...

Happy Sunday my friend! How did your January go? I’ve seen so many posts about how it felt like the longest month ever. Personally, I feel like it flew by—I can’t believe it’s already February! I spent much of January working behind the scenes in my business—cleaning things up, refining systems, and setting up processes to help things run more smoothly. Not exactly my favorite way to spend time, but it feels so good to have it done. Now, I can focus on the things that actually move the needle...

Happy Sunday and Happy December! December 1st—can you believe it? Where did this year go? I remember being a kid and hearing my parents say, “The years just fly by,” while I felt like the school year dragged on forever. Now? I get it. Time really does move at lightning speed. Speaking of time flying, let’s talk about this past weekend—one of the biggest shopping weekends of the year. Black Friday has been a personal tradition of mine for over 20 years (yes, I feel old admitting that), but...
